Matt began his teaching career in his home town of Hamilton, Ontario, at the Ontario Conservatory of Music in 1998. He has since taught at some of the leading teaching studios in Toronto, including his current position as a full-time instructor at Just Drums, Toronto's #1 source for drums and percussion.
Matt offers private instruction for drummers of all skill levels and all genres. His teaching method focuses on preparing and equipping students for live performances. He believes that the best way to learn the drums is to play with other musicians and have fun doing it!
